Excellence in OH&S Delivery
The South West Regional College of TAFE has delivered occupational health and safety training and qualifications to the South West Region of Western Australia for the past 10 years. We deliver a high quality course to students in a range of delivery modes.
Bunbury campus of TAFE is recognised by industry and health and safety professionals in South West WA as a major provider of occupational health and safety (OH&S) qualifications. The majority of our graduates are currently employed and are applying their OH&S knowledge across a variety of industry sectors and workplaces. Examples of industry sectors where graduates are employed include the mining, manufacturing, industrial processing and production, self employment, primary industries, transport and logistics, and health sectors. The career pathways open to graduates are varied and diverse, including OH&S Coordinators, Site Safety Officers, OH&S Inspectors, OH&S Consultants and OH&S Educators.
OH&S Qualifications & Flexible Learning Options
Our training is extremely flexible to meet both student and industry needs. From the start of 2008, South West Regional College of TAFE, students can complete the Diploma of OHS (BSB51604) and our existing Certificate IV in OHS (BSB 41604) via a range of flexible learning modes including:
• Face to face classes
• Web based learning
• A mix of face to face classes and web-based learning
Each year we update and improve the delivery of our OH&S training as part of our philosophy to quality, innovative and flexible OH&S learning for students.
