The Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety is the new entry-level qualification for those who want to be OHS coordinators. It is a nationally endorsed qualification that is part of the Business Services Training Package.
The competencies in the Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety are stated in the qualification’s unit titles, see below. These competency units have been endorsed by the National Quality Council and reflect the competencies required in the workplace by OHS coordinators.
The SafetyLine Institute is a resource to help you study. If you wish, you can contact a participating training provider to seek skills recognition (RPL) or coaching and mentoring to gain the full qualification or a unit of competency.
