The Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV) was established in 1875 and represents the professional and industrial interests of Victoria's building practitioners. It is an advocate on behalf of the industry to all tiers of government.
MBAV offers a full suite of nationally recognised OH&S training for safety officers and safety representatives across the industry. Classroom programs are based at MBAV headquarters in East Melbourne.
The MBAV Diploma in OH&S is targeted at senior practitioners and managers across the OH&S field. The Diploma takes approximately six months to complete. It comprises a total of eight days intensive classroom sessions in East Melbourne, delivered one class per fortnight over approximately three months and supplemented by online learning and assignments provided through the SafetyLine Institute. Assessment tasks range from on-line quizzes through to structured research projects based in the workplace.
Specialist tutors are allocated for each unit, to provide comprehensive learning support.
