Central Queensland Institute of TAFE is a leading provider of quality, innovative and flexible vocational education and training. The Institute's training excellence is well-recognised, scoring consistently high approval ratings and winning multiple awards such as the Queensland’s Large Training Provider of the Year.

There are four major campuses located in Rockhampton, Mackay, Gladstone and Emerald. To suit our clients’ lifestyles, training is available on and off campus through a wide variety of study options. The Institute delivers training in the workplace and on-site, and has adopted flexible attendance times, self-paced learning options, videoconferencing, video-streaming, distance, online and blended delivery.

Central Queensland TAFE has a strong record of achievement in meeting the skilling needs of individuals, businesses and industry sectors. As a member of the TAFE Queensland network, the largest training provider in the state, we are equipped with strong training infrastructure to provide high quality training in a comprehensive range of vocational areas.

In the Occupational Health and Safety training area, the Institute delivers programs on Incident Investigation, Occupational Health and Safety Auditing and the Workplace Health and Safety Officer course by external study which is supported by some online resources and residential components.
