Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (BRIT) is the leading provider of vocational education and training programs and services to industry and the community in Central Victoria.  The Institute services an area of 25,000 square kilometres in central and northern Victoria with a resident population of 220,000.  The Institute offers a diverse range of vocational and pre-vocational programs to students, from certificate and diploma training, to apprenticeship and short courses.  Our broad range of study areas ensures that training is offered in both traditional trades as well as emerging skill areas.

Brit is able to provide vocational education and training (VET) products and services which are client focussed and of an excellent standard.  BRIT is able to provide flexible delivery options such as training and assessment at the client’s workplace or at one of our specialised training facilities. The Institute has two campuses situated in Bendigo, with other campuses located throughout the region in Castlemaine, Echuca, Kyneton and Maryborough.

Recognition of Existing Qualifications and Skills

If you already have qualifications, knowledge or skills which can be matched to units in your intended study, you may wish to apply for formal recognition.
 
The process consists of you, with our guidance, assembling your evidence, and BRIT assessing it for a match with a particular unit or units.
